Illuminated Stillness
Town Hall Gallery
This upcoming exhibition explores the interplay of light, pattern and memory—drawing on the leadlight windows and interior spaces of Melbourne homes.
The works consider how light moves through glass, and how domestic spaces hold personal and collective histories.
About the artist
Lucy Watts is a Melbourne-based printmaker and painter working from her home studio in Ashburton.
Her work is inspired by light, domestic interiors and the natural world, with a particular focus on the quiet beauty of everyday spaces.
Each piece is hand-carved and printed using traditional linocut techniques.
