Limited Edition Lino Prints - Reduction Method

The reduction method of printmaking, uses only one plate, which is continually cut back using specialised tools. The lino plate is altered and re-inked each time another colour is overlaid, thus destroying the plate in the process. Once complete, no further prints can ever be made.

These prints have been printed by hand, which gives each an individual, soft and muted tone. Lucy’s reduction prints have twice won first place at the Lorne Art Show and are held in private collections. A small sample of work is shown below.
