Toasting Marshmallows, Very Limited Edition Lino Print
A very limited edition lino print, one of only four.
This four colour reduction print, required multiple carvings of the lino, in order to allow each colour to be printed and revealed. Once the final carving is complete, the image can never be reproduced because the lino has been cut away each time.
The image - rendered in soft pinks and browns - is of my daughter toasting marshmallows over a firepit.
Each colour is applied to the lino by me and then handprinted by running it through an etching press multiple times to achieve the final colour combination.
Each artwork is printed on acid free, Hahnmuhle Etching, 300 GSM, 100% alpha cellulose paper, which is acid-free fibre of vegetable origin and has a slight textured surface.
The print itself is 26cm by 20cm. Each print is signed and editioned and is part of a limited edition print run. Each print is an original, not a reproduction, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
The print is packed against backing board (100% post consumer waste recycled fibre, FSC certified and acid free) and wrapped in a 40 micron polypropylene (premium film) sealed bag. However, the print will be removed from bag and posted rolled between pieces of acid free Glassine Paper in a mailing tube for best protection.
This print requires framing.
