View - Thornton, Limited Edition Lino Print
A limited edition lino print (one of only eight) in soft blues and greens, showing a serene hillside view in Thornton, regional Victoria.
I created the image using a jigsaw technique. The image is carved into pieces and individually inked in the various colours before being reassembled.
The inked lino is then handprinted by running it through an etching press. Each artwork is printed on acid free, Canson Edition, 100% cotton paper, 250 GSM, which complies with the ISO 9706 standard on permanence, a guarantee of optimal conservation.
The print itself is 20cm by 15cm. Each print is signed and editioned and is part of a limited edition print run. Each print is an original, not a reproduction, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
The print is packed against backing board (100% post consumer waste recycled fibre, FSC certified and acid free) and wrapped in a 40 micron polypropylene (premium film) sealed bag. However, the print will be removed from bag and posted rolled between pieces of acid free Glassine Paper in a mailing tube for best protection.
