Jonquils, Limited Edition Lino Print
A limited edition lino print, one of only ten,
This image of jonquils, in blue outline with yellow centres, is a multi plate lino print. After designing the artwork, I carved the lino in order to print the yellow centres first and then followed up by printing the blue jonquil flowers.
Each colour is applied to the lino by me and then handprinted by running it through an etching press multiple times to achieve the correct colour combination.
Each artwork is printed on acid free, Canson Edition, 100% cotton paper, 250 GSM, which complies with the ISO 9706 standard on permanence, a guarantee of optimal conservation.
The print itself is 22cm by 17cm. Each print is signed and editioned and is part of a limited edition print run. Each print is an original, not a reproduction, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
The print is packed against backing board (100% post consumer waste recycled fibre, FSC certified and acid free) and wrapped in a 40 micron polypropylene (premium film) sealed bag. However, the print will be removed from bag and posted rolled between pieces of acid free Glassine Paper in a mailing tube for best protection.
